Surprising-After-Mahesh-Babu,-It-Is-Happening-To-SumanthRemakes, when made simultaneously, in two languages release at the same time. It is the norm barring a few exceptions. But they are very rare. One such rarity is happening now.

We are talking about the Telugu movie Kapatadhaari starring Sumanth. It is a remake of Kannada film Kavaludaari. Interestingly, it is also remade in Tamil (along with Telugu) as Kabadadaari starring Sibi Sathyaraj in the lead. It is hear that the twist in the tale lies.

The Tamil remake of Kannada original, Kabadadaari is releasing on January 28th itself. However, the Telugu version will arrive a month later on February 26th. It is surprising for sure, but since the producer for both remakes is the same, it doesn’t seem to be a problem for anyone.

In the past, and that is a very long ago, Superstar Mahesh Babu’s film too had a similar issue. But, in that case, the Mahesh Babu’s movie arrived in cinemas first. It is nothing but Nani that released in 2004. The director of Nani, SJ Suryah, played the hero in its Tamil version New.

The shocking thing in the example mentioned above is that Mahesh Babu’s Nani bite the dust at the box office, but New became a success. Here’s hoping history doesn’t repeat for these new releases.
