The Tollywood box office saw a surprise blockbuster recently with Balagam which has Priyadarshi in the lead role and is directed by comedy actor Venu. The film went on a surprisingly good run at the Nizam box office.
Now, the latest news is that the film will be made available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Simply South.
Balagam will be made available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Simply South from 12 AM tonight and the same was confirmed a short while ago.
It could be streaming only in Telugu language for now. It has to be seen if this surprisingly good box office hit can evoke a similar response from the Telugu crowd on OTT. If yes, it could be in for a merry run.
The film is set in a rural Telangana backdrop and it ran predominantly on the word of mouth. Dil Raju released the film. The native Telangana factor worked very much in its favor.
