Suriya’s recent blockbuster ‘Soorarai Pottru‘ would have been a blockbuster even if went for a direct theatrical release as the content of the movie is as strong as the performance of the lead actors and the supporting cast.
This would naturally reflect on the remuneration on the star and his star value. As per the latest buzz, Suriya is going to receive Rs 35 crores as his remuneration for his upcoming movie ‘Vaadi Vaasal’ with acclaimed director Vetrimaaran. That’s a big amount, right?
‘Vaadi Vaasal’ is in the pre-production stage while Vetrimaaran and Suriya are busy with their prior commitments. So, after completing their ongoing projects, they would start working on their combo project. Vetrimaaran has earned a special place and Suriya undoubtedly has a better place as a star and performer.
Besides this project, Suriya has other projects with director Pandiraj and director Hari in the pipeline.
