As Suriya is a big star hero, he can’t afford to shoot in realistic places as there would be every chance of being mobbed causing huge commotion and disruption to the shooting of the film. Hence, the makers of his next movie ‘Thaana Serntha Kootam’ couldn’t do that.
They got a set created by art director Kiran in the outskirts of Chennai. The film is going to have the backdrop of 1980s and 90s and hence the set has to look realistic to reflect the bygone era. This movie is a quickie planned for Suriya, aimed at his comeback with a success.
Suriya didn’t have a super hit film in the recent past and thus the expectations on ‘Thaanaa Serndha Kootam’ are high. Fans are hoping for a decent hit to a blockbuster range for Suriya. Young actress, Keerthi Suresh is romancing Suriya as his on-screen pair in this film.
