Suriya Samantha’s and upcoming film, titled ‘Anjaan’ in Tamil and ‘Sikandar’ in Telugu, was supposed to release their first look teaser yesterday but it did not see the light. Currently, the film unit is in Goa filming their last song and according to sources, the filmmakers wanted to include a few shots of this song in the first look teaser. Apparently, this caused the postponement in the release of the first look teaser.
The first look posters of the movie flaunting actor Suriya’s stylish make over and actress Samantha’s mass appeal raised the curiosity of the movie buffs. After the success of ‘Singam-2’, Suriya’s ‘Anjaan’ will be clashing with Jr. NTR’s ‘Rabhasa’ as both have announced their release dates on 14th and 15th August to cash in on Independence Day weekend. Interestingly, both the films feature the talented actress Samantha in the lead role.
Suriya’s Telugu market is huge in both Telangana and Andhra and the actor has high chances of giving Jr. NTR a tough time at the box office which could easily dent his opening collections. It will be very interesting to find out the trade figures when Suriya has a clash with one of the top Telugu heroes. Let’s wait and see who will make the most out of it at the end.
