In recent days, a video of Suriya had popped on the internet where he was dressed in a traditional Muslim attire and praying in what appears to be a mosque. This has a led to lot of rumour flowing around that the leading actor had converted to Islam.
However, actor’s official sources has laid rest to all these rumours. The video was of an incident that had occurred during the shooting of ‘Singam’ Since the venue of the shooting was near Kadappa, A. R. Rahman had invited Suriya to a famous mosque in Kadappa where a special event was taking place. The video footage of Suriya in the traditional muslim garb is from his visit to this mosque.
Meanwhile Suriya’s latest project Thaana Serntha Kootam directed by Vignesh Shivan has been in works for a while now. However recent updates suggest that film is entering the final schedule of its shooting and the teaser and first look will be out very soon!
