Suresh Kondeti to remake Tamil hit VVS

Recent Tamil blockbuster Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam is soon to have Telugu remake. The remake rights of the film have been bought by Suresh Kondeti, who on his birthday Sunday, announced that he will soon remake the film in Telugu.

The cast and crew for the remake is yet to be finalized but Kondeti assures that the remake will be changed accordingly to suit the nativity of the Telugu audiences. It will be interesting to find out who will replace Sivakarthikeyan, who played the lead in the original.

The Tamil version was a blockbuster as the film made on a moderate budget of about INR 7 crore, collected over INR 30 crore at the box-office. It’s still running to packed houses in the B and C centers of Tamil Nadu, where it minted the maximum collection.

Kondeti has so far only been producing the Telugu dubbed version of several Tamil films, but this this first time he is remaking a Tamil film with confidence that he be successful
