Reminiscing her experiences while acting with Mahesh Babu in 1988 when they did ‘Koduku Diddina Kapuram’ with Krishna playing the lead, Vijaya Shanthi shared an experience. She had to slap Mahesh Babu who was just 13 or 14 years back then.
When she couldn’t get to slap the cute kid, Krishna insisted on either slapping Mahesh Babu as per the requirement of the scene or else choose to pack up the shoot for the day. Mahesh, who was a teenager came to her and said very cutely that it was okay to slap him.
Definitely, doing ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ with Mahesh Babu must have been a ride of nostalgia for the actress returning to the screen after long.
