It is not only Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu who is facing release issues tacking a major production but a similar problem is also taking place for Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan as well.
The problem with SRK in Bollywood is somewhat different in nature compared to Tollywood’s one. Here Shah Rukh has a guaranteed blockbuster kind of deal with him in the form of Rohit Shetty film Dilwale. The problem is that he has a film in competition in the form of Bajirao Mastani. The latter is a Sanjal Leela Bhansali directed 100 Cr magnum opus starring Ranveer, Deepika and Priyanka Chopra in lead. The issue here is simply of theaters which SLB movie would occupy irrespective of its box office fate.
SRK has therefore once again gone to his old preponement trick of Chennai Express. Here too he had to compete with a biggie which was to arrive a week earlier. But the star moved his release a week back and got the other biggie to take its place. He is once again using the same trick with Dilwale. Will Bajirao stick to its date or move forward?
