‘Drishyam 2‘, the sequel for the blockbuster film with the same title that was released seven years ago is going to stream tonight on Amazon prime Video. There is a long gap between the prequel and the sequel, but that didn’t deter the sequel to garner a superb buzz.
On the OTT platform, only the Malayalam version of ‘Drishyam 2’ is going to stream with English subtitles. Like the prequel, it’s premature to say that this movie would also be remade into all other main languages including Hindi. However, there is a big hype and expectations running on the movie.
Mohanlal who plays the lead role in the prequel as well requested the audiences to watch this movie as an independent movie rather than comparing it to the first instalment of ‘Drishyam’. He says that the characters have matured with age but are emotionally stuck.
Within a few hours, we’ll get to know if ‘Drishyam 2’ could meet the expectations. Will this movie be one more special movie in Mohanlal’s career? Let’s see.
