A super mass title is announced for Superstar Rajinikanth‘s new film. The title of the movie is Kaala which happens to be a short form of Karikaalan.
If there were any doubts regarding the political ambitions of Superstar Rajinikanth, this should further put an end to the misery. The title is taken straight off taken from one of the most powerful and popular rulers of Chola dynasty in Tamil history, Raja Karikala. After Kabali this is yet another powerful title for Superstar Rajinikanth.
On a side note, a few years ago a film was launched with title Karikalan starring Vikram has the hero. It never got made though. The title got very popular among the Tamil movie lovers back then. With Rajini taking it, it would surely be an instant hype creator for them without any doubt.
