It’s official now that Sunny Leone is finally making her Telugu debut with Manchu Manoj-starer ‘Current Theega’, and as expected her entry has already made a sensation in the industry. Excited about her Tollywood entry, she said that she’s not only willing to do item numbers but also play strong roles if given an opportunity.
Sunny said that although she doesn’t mind doing item numbers but she really wants to play different characters as she’s keen on exploring her acting prowess as well. But the question is whether any filmmaker would want to give her a meaty role because most would want to only use her to showcase her assets to draw audiences to cinemas. It is unlikely that she will be given strong character role as she has been typecast as someone who entertain audiences with her skin show.
It is not sure if she will be featuring in a song in Current Theega or doing a full-fledged role. We have to wait to get more information about her role in the film, which recently went on floors.
