Ever since Sunil started playing lead roles, he has only been associated with remakes more or less, and he continues to do so having signed up another remake film. Sunil has been confirmed to play in the Telugu remake of Tamil film Sundarapandian, which was one of highly successful films of last year.
Sunil’s Maryada Ramanna and Mr. Pellikoduku were remakes of English film ‘Our Hospitality’ and Hindi flick ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, respectively. His other film ‘Tadakha’ was remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Vettai’. It would be interesting to see him in the remake of Sundarapandian because it has good scope for comedy and Sunil has reiterated on the fact that he would like to play lead roles where there is room for comedy as well.
The rest of the cast is yet to be finalized for the film, which will be remade by Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao, who is known for directing several successful remakes over the years. Apparently, the shooting for the remake will start after Sunil completes shooting for Bheemavaram Bullodu.
