After a long rough patch, Sundeep Kishan is on a comeback trail in Telugu cinema. His last film, Ninu Veedani Nedanu Nene, had good openings and now he is ready with a new outing that seems commercially sealable.
Tenali Ramakrishna BA.BL is all set to release in a few days. It won’t be an easy thing to grab the audience’s attention, and that is also what provides him with an opportunity to impress on the comeback trail.
To those unaware, two more films are releasing on the same day along with Tenali Ramakrishna BA.BL. They are Tamil dubbed big flicks starring Vishal (Action) and Vijay Sethupathi (Vijay Sethupathi). The latter might not be a bigger issue, but the former is undoubtedly going to pose a threat.
Under these competitive circumstances, if the Sundeep Kishan starrer manages to turn out a winner, it would reflect well on his forthcoming films. It is the reason why there would be a close focus on these movies coming on November 15th.
Incidentally, Sundeep Kishan’s biggest hit in Telugu Venkatadri Express had also come during the same time (month). It was, however, six years ago, and explains why everyone is looking at the current run as a comeback.
