Summer-King-Allu-Arjun-Fighting-A-Lost-BattleStylish Star Allu Arjun made his debut as an actor in the year 2003 with the film Gangotri, a summer release. It was also the summer winner that year which also had crazily anticipated releases like Johnny and Nijam. The star recently completed 15 years as a lead hero in the industry and will now have a 10th summer release in a decade and half old career.

Now, there are few other films as well which came a month before or after summer, adding which the total only goes higher. The point here is, matching the frequency is the number of times Bunny’s films have been summer’s best making him an unofficial summer king of sorts. It has been the case in the most number of times, and the opposite can be counted on fingers.

Varudu, released in 2010, is probably the only genuine failure for Allu Arjun among all his summer releases. Of course, he made amends with the critical victory of Vedam in the same period; overall it is the outliner in his glorious summer run.

Will 2018, be a revisit of 2010? Naa Peru Surya is coming after two biggies Rangasthalam and Bharat Ane Nenu. It should be clear by now, that NPS won’t be the highest grossing movie this summer. Chances for second best would be decided in a few days from now, but even that looks unlikely. Critically too, it would be hard to match the other two biggies, let alone surpass. We aren’t ruling out that possibility, but it would be an impossible task for sure.

The bottom-line is Stylish Star looks vulnerable for a change. Will he be able to turn the table around in the coming days? Let’s hope so!
