The reason is the amount for the Hindi dubbing and satellite rights. The movie was sold for Rs. 1.5 crores for Hindi dubbing and satellite rights. This is a good amount for the makers of the movie.
Henceforth, ‘Prema Katha Chitram 2’ is benefitted from the fact that Telugu movies have huge demand in the Hindi dubbing sector that is meant for television premieres and YouTube. However, we don’t know about the business the movie is likely to do in the Telugu belt. The prequel of the movie ‘Prema Katha Chitram’ starring Sudheer Babu and Nanditha in the lead. It was a super hit movie.
Usually when it comes to Telugu, making sequels for super hit movies didn’t bring any luck to the makers. Here, the sequel has bagged good amount for the Hindi dubbing not because of the struggling hero but because of the brand, i.e., the first part that was a super hit.
