The project is very much on, confirms director Sukumar in a authoritative voice when asked about the rumors of his film with Jr NTR getting shelved. Days after the debacle of 1 Nenokkadine, a press note was released stating that the director would be next making a film with Jr NTR that will be produced by BVSN Prasad. Many in the industry thought that this is all hogwash and the film will actually never take off. Over the past few days, finally it gained momentum that the film has indeed been shelved as expected initially and hence the clarification from the direction.
Sukumar reportedly is planning a love story with Jr NTR with lots of family elements in it. The director has so far only narrated a basic idea and is yet to get into full fledged narration. This small gap in the narration process as the director is not yet ready with an complete script has been taken as a non-starter of the film by a segment that later gave way to the completing abandoning of the project by the team. This has lead to both the director and producer confirming the project again.
