Tollywood producer Sudhakar Cherukuri has always been big on new type films. His first film was Padi Padu Leche Manasu which had a pretty decent first half but struggled due to the second half syndrome and didn’t make it big at the box office. His second film Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu was a misfire and so was Virata Parvam.
Virata Parvam is a daring attempt for these times one should say Sudhakar is now awaiting the release of Ravi Teja’s Ramarao On Duty. This film isn’t a typical commercial action drama. It is billed to be a thriller with an action backdrop. This should be some kind of a changeover for Ravi Teja who has almost entirely been doing commercial actioners of late.
Sudhakar is a soft-spoken guy and non-controversial trying to come up with fresh content without too many calculations. He is confident of Ramarao On Duty hitting the bullseye at the box office this weekend.
It remains to be seen if at least this Friday will be kind to the producer and put a smile on his face with Ramarao going big at the box office.
Sudhakar is also working on Nani’s Dasara which again, is another new attempt. It is also heard that this rustic film is the costliest one yet in Nani’s career. Also, one of its kind for Nani.
