Sometimes, things we take casually may lead us into a dangerous situation that can escalate further and pose a big problem. That is what happened when director Hanu Raghavapudi shot a scene using a gun when shooting in the United States as revealed by Nithin.
Hanu Raghavapudi wanted to shoot a sequence in which actor Ajay points a gun at Nithin from an adjacent hotel. After taking the permission of the hotel to use one of the rooms, the scene was shot. Later, police came suddenly and arrested Nithin and others for using a gun.
The director had to convince the police that they didn’t mean any real threat as they were using the gun only for canning a sequence in their upcoming movie ‘Lie’. The police personals were not satisfied and hence put up a vigilance on the film’s unit to know if they were up to something really threatening.
After that experience, Nithin didn’t risk shooting with a gun in the US. Rather, he chose to shoot the remaining scenes using a gun in India. That why we say, ‘Once bitten, twice shy’.
