‘Ala Vaikumthapurramloo’, the title is taken from the popular poem from Telugu poet Bammera Pothana’s Bhagavatam. It seems to be very classy and also a very soft title for a star like Allu Arjun with mass fan following.
Talking about the soft title, Trivikram was a little bit hesitant to tell about the title to Allu Arjun, initially. But, Bunny was fine when Triivkram mentioned it and felt that it was very good. So, immediately he revealed the title to music director Thaman, who immediately said it was wonderful.
It was like a kind of testing to see the reaction of his crucial crew members if they felt the same vibe after listening to the name of the title. Finally, Trivikram and Allu Arjun okayed the title. Not only the title, several dialogues in trailer that had that classy feel in Trivikram’s style.
The director not only had apprehensions about the title, he also had the same for ‘Samajavaragamana’. He made Thaman compose another song and keep it as a spare if the hero didn’t like ‘Samajavaragmana’, he could replace it with the alternative.
Now, we know that one of the nicest decisions Allu Arjun and Trivikram took was to keep ‘Samajavaragamana’ and not go for the alternative. It became a song to remember forever among the music lovers and we can’t imagine that it could have been replaced if not for the stylish star.
