For Telugu fans it’s a delight that universal star Kamal Haasan is going to come with a straight Telugu film ‘Cheekati Raajyam’ very soon. Of course it’s a bilingual coming as ‘Thoonga Vanam’ in Tamil. While Rajesh M Selva is given the credit for story and direction of the film, here comes a buzz that Kamal’s film is a French remake.
So according to a report in a national tabloid, Kamal Haasan’s upcoming bilingual is the official remake of a French film titled ‘Nuit Blanche’, which means ‘Sleepless Night’ directed by Frederick Jardin in 2011. The apparent similarities are found in the character of the protagonist in both the films.
Kamal is playing a policeman and the protagonist in ‘Nute Blanche’also did so. One more similarity is the involvement of the same stunt choreographers for ‘Cheekati Rajyam’ who worked for the French film. It’s learnt that Kamal would reveal the remake news very soon before the release of the bilingual. Let’s wait for the official confirmation on the same.
