Aamir Khan has been known to take up difficult projects and do them justice. After his recent work in Dangal, Aamir’s next step is in the form of a cinematic adaptation of the epic mythological saga: Mahabharata. Word on the street is that Amir is in talks with renowned Hollywood actor and director Mel Gibson for his latest project.
“A source close to Aamir said that it has been Aamir’s wish to make Mahabharata for a long time and this s one step in that direction. As for the film itself, it will probably be the biggest motion picture made in India.
As for the actual filmmaking, the pre-production and set designing has already been started. Furthermore, Mahabharata is expected to be backed by a big Hollywood studio and is likely to go on floors in the early 2017.”
