Star comedian calls Reviewers as sadistsDo bad reviews or good reviews effect a film? How many cine goers actually read a newspaper or browse for online reviews before choosing a movie to watch? These are the questions which come first when we come to know about Kollywood star comedian Vadivelu’s comments on reviewers.

Going by the title, it’s obvious that Vadivelu called them sadists. Why this sudden anger on them when his hundreds of movies had been reviewed all these years without any problem from his side? Recently Vadivelu’s film ‘Eli’ opened to some bad reviews from online reviewers and the film too isn’t doing well as expected.

He thinks his film is a hit (?), in spite of the fact that his film isn’t receiving good reception from his fans. So he lays whole blame on the media and especially on reviewers calling them psychos and sadists forgetting that this same reviewers gave him big acclaim when his films had good content. Does a film’s performance really depend solely on reviews, not the content?
