Superstar Mahesh Babu will be back with his upcoming film, SSMB28, directed by Trivikram. The makers have announced its new release date as January 13, 2024, with a new poster that showcases Mahesh as the ultimate mass hero.
The film was supposed to release in August, but the makers shrewdly postponed it to Sankranthi next year and captured the most lucrative period to cash in on the biggest festival in the Telugu states.
This year we saw even cringy films starring the utmost senior heroes doing 100s of crores of business during Sankranthi. The festival factor proved to be a big advantage.
So Mahesh Babu coming up with a fresh new film in the combination of Trivikram would be no less than a bonanza on Sankranthi. He is looking in great shape and is being projected in the best way possible which will make the youth throng the theaters in big numbers.
Trivikram’s films have a special connection with families not only in Telugu states but also in the US markets. His last film, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, played kabaddi at the box office during the same season. Music by Thaman is also expected to be his finest work which will add more hype.
SSMB28 is produced by S Radhakrishna (China Babu) under Haarika and Haasine creations banner. If things fall in place and the content gets clicked, then all Non-SSR records will be history!
