Mahesh’s ‘Srimanthudu’ is successfully spreading the noble deed to adopt native village and develop it. A huge responsibility now lies ahead of Mahesh Babu as he has decided to adopt his native village Burripalem of Guntur district.
Though he wanted to adopt it during the making of the film, he was afraid that it would be misunderstood as a publicity gimmick for the movie. Hence he waited for the release and now within three months he would be ready with plan of action to take up the development works in Burripalem.
Like Sachin Tendulkar adopted Puttmaraju Kandriga and did noticeable good work transforming the village from a backward village to a modern one, Mahesh needs to plan it well to win the hearts of the people. Any kind of mismanagement or limiting his enthusiasm to the beginning, will land him targeted with negative propaganda.
Since Burripalem is a small village with population of about 3300 plus, he can do it if he goes in a well planned manner. If he succeeds, he would be the first Telugu hero to achieve something so noble in the present generation. Many want to see Mahesh turning real ‘Harsha’ his on screen character in real life. Hope, he fulfills the dream.
