For the past few days there have been lots of things happening mostly behind the media glare centered on the film Srimanthudu. The main focus of course was about the business and subsequently the release date of the film.
Mythri Films are making their production debut with Srimanthudu and they have been looking to make a grand entrance with record breaking deals and openings, given the cast and crew they have ensemble for the film. But they clearly hadn’t anticipated a road block as big as Baahubali coming in the way of their plans.
Ever since Baahubali team has intertwined with Srimanthudu plans, the latter has been taking a hit buzz and business wise. Still not caring for the threat Superstar Mahesh Babu had announced the release date which happens to be a week after Baahubali. Keeping in tune with the lead’s choice of release date the makers expressed confidence and were going about as planned. But the buyers weren’t as interested in the product as Mythri would have expected and this pressure is now making them rethink.
A special press meet was held to announce the latest decision taken and Srimanthudu will now be releasing on the 7th of August. Audio will be launched on 18th July and the entire shooting will be wrapped up by 27th June.
