Dr. Subbi Rami Reddy arranged for the Condolences Meet in Hyderabad in the memory of Sridevi and we can see that only few known faces have attended the event for the reasons unknown. Only Mohan Babu sent a letter explaining his reason for not attending the event that his mother is unwell.
Several senior stars like Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and Nagarjuna who acted with her gave the event a skip. Seniors like Jaya sudha, Jaya Pradha and a few others attended the event. The younger female stars also didn’t show up except for Niveda Thomas. Even the youngest generation stars who are ruling the box-office, beginning from Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu to Allu Arjun ignored the event.
If this is the case of a legendary artist who ruled the box-office in Tollywood, one can imagine how Tollywood stars have failed big time to create a platform to show their solidarity when required. It’s the minimum courtesy to make time to give a proper tribute to the actress.
