Sharwanand’s upcoming movie ‘Srikaram’ has the backdrop of agriculture and so, does it have any connection with Mahesh Babu’s hit movie ‘Maharshi’ with the same backdrop? The director of ‘Sreekaram’, Kishore B says that it doesn’t have any connection, whatsoever.
‘Sreekaram‘ is an extension of his short film with the same title that he made in 2016. He started the pre-production of the story from 2017 onwards for the feature film. The director also denied any connection and resemblances with Sharwanand’s blockbuster ‘Shatamanam Bhavathi’.
Though the director took time to approach Sharwa, the actor took no time to okay the script. He gave his nod almost immediately after the script. ‘Sreekaram’ is going to come to the theatres on 11th March and the director seems to be confident that it’s the right time to talk about farming.
The team even grew crops on the fields for the sake of the film and that served the purpose. Let’s hope, ‘Srikaram’ turns out to be a successful debut for the director, Kishore B who came from an agricultural backdrop.
