The trailer of SR Kalyanamandapam is out. after an impressive teaser, which showed a glimpse of the content, we now get a bigger look at what is in the store. The movie promises to be a well-packed commercial entertainer with a unique and refreshingly designed father and son track.
The opening itself gives us an idea as to what we get. Sai Kumar gets a delightfully entertaining role after a gap. Kiran Abbavaram takes over immediately and shows that he has a lot of potential. The entertainment is the unique ‘father-son’ bond is what works here.
The thing to note here, based on the credits, is that Kiran Abbavaram also provides the story, screenplay and dialogues. He seems to be a multi-faceted guy, and if SR Kalyanamandapam works, it could be a huge turn around for him.
The rest of the cast looks good, even if most of them seem to be new faces. They all have done in getting the timing right. The backdrop of Rayalaseema feels quite different due to them and the content presented overall.
More than anything, though, SR Kalyanamandapam looks like a perfect big-screen outing after the long gap. The movie has sold for high prices, and if it is as entertaining as the trailer, it could sure be a winner.
