Spyder-Jai-Lava-Kusa-Impact-Pawan Kalyan -PSPK25-Overseas-MarketPowerstar Pawan Kalyan’s film with director Trivikram Srinivas is the next big movie as far as the US is concerned. It has been snapped up for a record price ($5 Million+ to break even), apparently, but will it be renegotiated?

While the chances for recognition is less, there is a scary pressure mounted on PK25 to deliver. The recent debacle of big-budget movies including Pawan Kalyan’s previous films as being like multiple lightning bolts striking on distributors. Keeping that in mind agreements are likely to be changed to accommodate loses, even though the official business number remains high.

The recent big releases and its performances have sent shock waves in the overseas market. We need not repeat about Mahesh Babu, but the Jr NTR starrer too with better word of mouth has failed to break even. Getting to 1.5 Million doesn’t automatically mean it is in profits or a hit.

The way things are transpiring for biggies, the overseas distributors are feeling safe getting small films. Some of the most profitable movies in the past few years have been small to medium budget films. Will PK25 be able to overcome the trend and collect like a biggie should in the US?
