South cinema has made pan-India a household name. Earlier, RRR and KGF 2 shook the Indian box office. Now, South has lined up four more pan-India outings.
The said films are Major, Ante Sundaraniki, Vikram, and 777 Charlie.
Major is a re-telling of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacked. It brings to life the story of martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film is releasing on June 3.
Nani’s Ante Sundaraniki is a comedy caper that is releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film has Nani and Nazriya Nazim in the lead roles. The film is releasing on June 10.
Vikram is possibly the most exciting title in the list. It marks the coming together of few of South’s finest actors, Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, and Suriya(speculative). The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial clashes with Major on June 3.
777 Charlie is a Kannada language drama featuring Rakshit Shetty in the lead role. The film is set to hit the big screens on June 10.
While none of them are big events films, all four of them are content driven ones and we need to wait and see how pan-India audiences react to the same.
