It seems that the superstar Salman Khan is keen on indulging himself with the remake of South Films. Salman’s ‘Wanted,’ a remake of ‘Pokiri’ was received very well by the audiences. Following this, Khan appears very eager to do spin-offs on Southern movies.
In fact, it has come to our notice that he, along with his family, has acquired the rights of three Telugu movies.
‘Brindavanam,’ whose remake rights have been bought by Sohail Khan is believed to be Salman’s next Id release. His sister Alvira bought the rights to Mahesh Babu’s ‘Dookudu’ while brother Arbaaz Khaan is in talks with the producers of Ravi Teja’s ‘Kick.’
As far as the remake of ‘Brindavanam’ is concerned, Salman wants to retain at least some of the cast and crew with Sohail Khan reportedly approaching original director Vamsi Pydipally. Kajal Agarwal might also take on her original role but the rest of the cast has not been decided yet.
