It seems like Southern Actresses are keen to make a run for the B-town as soon as they get a chance. Latest trends in the films industry has revealed that with even a small taste of success, south-indian actresses have a tendency to break off their associations with their home industries and move towards Bollywood to shape their careers.
While this trend is not really new, with several actresses having done the same before, the latest in line is Tollywood’s former queen bee Ileana D’Cruz who after a successful debut in the Hindi film industry has now decided to move to Mumbai has her eyes set toward a full-fledged career in Bollywood.
A Tollywood producer revealed on the conditions of anonymity that, “Ileana didn’t spend even 10% of the time that she did to promote her Hindi film on the last two Telugu films that she was a part of.”
