Coca-Cola is a partner of the 2017 tournament to be held in India and the international beverages brand had roped in Sourav Ganguly to popularize the game and tournament. Sourav replaced Sachin Tendulkar, the country’s most famous cricketer, whose contract ended last year.

Ganguly also volunteered to support Coca-Cola’s Support My School movement – a programme that promotes the cause of healthy schools. Ganguly is settled down as a commentator after his retirement. He is also currently the joint secretary of the Cricket Association of Bengal.
