Mehreen Pirzada who thought of quitting movies post her wedding has again resumed filming as her wedding got postponed to next year. She made her acting debut with Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha. The sensuous diva has now made an interesting revelation which is in connection to her first film.
When asked about the best compliment she has ever received, Mehreen revealed that actor Prudhvi gave her the best compliment. He called her the ‘Soundarya of Telugu cinema’ which made her go speechless. But wait. This comes as a joke for film buffs and even Soundarya fans would get offended.
Soundarya was an immaculate actress who has given many worthy and defining moments in her career. While Mehreen has been part of big banner films, she has been more of a glamorous girl and her acting prowess is yet to be seen. So calling her as the ‘Soundarya of Telugu cinema’ will leave many shell-shocked.
Mehreen is currently working on Maruthi’s untitled project. The medium-budget movie has Ek Mini Katha fame Santosh Shobhan. She will resume Anil Ravipudi’s F3. With her wedding getting postponed, buzz has it that Mehreen has unofficially informed filmmakers that she is up for movies.
