Rajinikanth is the biggest Superstar in the South India. Whenever a heroine is offered a role in Rajinikanth’s movie, they sign it with eyes and mouth closed. But it is not the case with Sonakshi Sinha. She was offered a role in Rajinikanth’s next to be directed by KS Ravi Kumar. The actress did not sign the movie untill the age difference between her and Rajinikanth is justified. She signed the dotted line only after she is convinced that the script is demanding the age gap.
In to the details, Sonakshi’s father Shatrugna Sinha and Rajinkanth are contemporaries. When the two of them worked together in K C Bokadia’s ‘Asli Naqli’, Sonakshi was running around on the sets in frocks. She was not at all comfortable when she was approached to act beside an actor of her father’s age. However Rajinikanth fans are not happy with Sonakshi. They say – “If she had been to South previously, she would have known the value of the offer”.
