In a shocking incident, a 20 year old Jihadi shot dead his own mother in front of large crowd outside Post office in Raqqa, Syria. The reason behind her execution is apostasy. The Raqqa city is invaded by ISIS militants in the year 2013.
She reportedly told her son that US led air strikes carrying out on ISIS militants would wipe out the terrorist group and she wanted to leave the strained Raqqa city along with him. The young man who had been associated with terrorist group since 2013 told terrorists about her apprehensions.
The angered group accused her with apostasy which refers to the abandonment of religion and ordered execution by her son with a riffle before her work place of Post Office.
