What is ”Something Something” about?
Since his childhood, Kumar (Siddharth) has several instances of love failures and develops an aversion for love and woman til he meets Sanjana (Hansika) in his company as a colleague. He falls for her instantly. When Kumar is toiling hard to impress her, another guy George (Ganesh Venkat Raman) comes to competition. It is then Kumar approaches Prem Ji (Brahmanandham) requesting him for help. What happens next in the triangular love story forms the rest of the story.
How is Siddharth?
The boy the next door characters are almost a cake walk for Siddharth. And he seamlessly walked through the character of Software employee, Kumar. He complimented well to Brahmi and both of them rocked the show from there.
What about Hansika and others ?
Hansika looked bubbly and will help in enthralling the masses. She had very little scope of acting in her character. However, the pair of Siddharth and Hansika did not go well. The same is the minus point for their earlier movie, O My Friend. But Hansika’s popularity in Tamil Nadu may have helped her bag this role. Rest of them are okay.
How is Sunder C’s direction?
The story offers nothing new. It is routine, straight and predictable. Sunder C had managed to come up with good screenplay and excellent characterizations. And that worked out for him. The direction at the same time is quite ordinary. Veligonda Srinivas’ writing complimented well.
What about Brahmi, Hansika and cameos by Samantha and Rana?
Brahmi rocked the show as Prem Ji, the love guru. He forms the crux of the story and entertained through out the length of his character which is bigger than that of the hero. Rana’s cameo is totally wasted and Samantha’s appearance is good.
How is Music, Songs, Dances &other departments?
The entire album is pretty average except for two songs which are good to hear. The picturization is par below average. Dances are pain to watch. Sathya’s back ground score is not even worth mentioning but since it is a love story, it is not so evidently seen. Editing is okay. Gopi Amarnath’s cinematography is average.

– Siddhu’s character doesn’t believe in love but he falls for Hanskia in first look.
– In a scene where Siddu lifts Hansika looked very odd.
– Siddhu dancing in lungi in foreign roads looked awful.
What about its box office prospects?
The movie is just a time pass flick. Good promotion may take the movie to average level.
