Shruti Haasan has come as a major surprise as she is named Hyderabad Times Most Desirable Woman 2020. What is surprising is that despite her conspicuous absence for the last three-years in Telugu cinema, she has topped the ‘Desirable List’.
The two heroines whose names have echoed in Tollywood are Rashmika Mandanna and Pooja Hegde. The two Kannadigas have been ruling the roost in all the industries and have a busy calendar in Bollywood, Kollywood and Tollywood. However, Shruti Haasan toppling the two actresses and topping the desirable list has come as a surprise.
Shruti Haasan bagging the coveted title despite her absence for a period of three-years comes as fishy. She had no releases between 2017 to 2020. The actress after lull-phase reentered with blockbuster Krack and had a cameo role in Vakeel Saab. However, she hit the jackpot and got the biggest break of her career as she was chosen as the leading lady alongside Prabhas in Salaar.
Prashanth Neel’s Salaar is certainly given a new lease of life to Shruti. Being a pan-Indian film, it will act as a catalyst to her career and she is already making quite a noise. In Kollywood she has Laabam next to Vijay Sethupathi.
On the personal front, the leggy lass too hit headlines over her relationship with artist Santanu Hazarika. The duo has been often snapped together but have neither confirmed nor denied anything on their relationship.
