Sai Dharam Tej’s Solo Brathuke So Better is the first major Telugu release after the Lockdown. The movie is releasing on December 25th amid the inhibitions of if or not the audience will throng to the theater with the Pandemic round the corner.
Ahead of the big day, Solo Brathuke So Better team had a precursor having the Title Song release at a Multiplex in Hyderabad. The media personnel were seated in an Audi following all the COVID-19 protocols and were shown the trailer.
The idea is to convince the media first in the anticipation that their positive promotions will help the audience gain confidence to come to the theaters. On the other side, Sumanth’s Kapatadhaari was also announced for Christmas release.
But the makers of that film are yet to announce their release date. The fate of these two films will decide the lineup of the Sankranthi releases. If the audience decides to stay away from the theaters, we may see more films taking the OTT route in January.
