Surender Reddy, the director of Race Gurram speaks about his movie. He says that he has penned the story exclusively for Allu Arjun as he believes that Bunny possesses that energy which can bring a smile even on one’s gloomy face. And his friendly nature is a very big advantage for the movie.
The movie is about the rivalry between two siblings right from their childhood which gets carried on as they grow up. The title is not about horse races and bettings; it is about how a horse focuses on winning when it runs a race, similar to the protagonist in this movie, who focuses only on his target.
Glamorous girl, Sruthi Hasan, will play a very crucial role in this movie and this role of hers will be completely new to the audience. Apart from her Saloni will also been seen playing a small but important role in the film. She’ll be starring opposite to Sham, of ‘Kick’ fame, who’ll be playing as Allu Arjun’s rival sibling in the movie.
Speaking about the credits of the movie, Surender Reddy says that nowadays, hit or flop, the director gets most of the credits as people started recognizing directors. Directors, alongside the actors will share the success of the movie and also the criticism, if it flops. It is the director’s responsibility to show the movie in such a way that the audience enjoy it.
Social media has not been an ally to Surender Reddy as he said that he has tried the Social media but found that it was abnormal. Though it has its own advantages and disadvantages, he is not very comfortable there. He is planning of working for Kick 2, with Ravi Teja and will also take a small budget movie with newcomers in the future.
