The pre-release event of Satyadev and Nithya Menen’s upcoming quirky entertainer Skylab was held today in Hyderabad. Natural Star Nani was the chief guest, along with a host of young talented directors making their mark in Telugu cinema.
Speaking at the function, Nani said that the whole event looks like it is done by people who have passed the exams rather than going to one. The fact that Nithya Menen chose to produce the film and calls it her most loved means Skylab is a guaranteed success, Nani quipped.
Nani also added with tongue firmly in cheek that he won’t be giving any controversial bites this time regarding movie ticket prices. He has done his part, and it is now up to others to take it (the issue) forward, according to Nani.
Satyadev was a picture of a relaxed man at the event. The confidence of the success was brimming from him, which in his words are a set of signs already visible while making.
Nithya Menen had very words of praise for his director and the team. Skylab restored her faith in acting and brought her alive were her words. It is the best and more comfortable crew among the films she starred in, said the actress. Finally, Nithya Menen noted that she is happy to be a small part of the change that the new age directors are bringing in cinema.
Vishwak directs Skylab, which Prithvi Pinnamaraju produces. Prashant R Vihari provides the music for the movie that also stars Tanikella Bharani, Rahul Ramakrishna and others in vital roles. Skylab hits cinemas all over December 4th.
