Telugu actor Sivaji, who is known for his performances as a comedian-turned-hero, says he doesn’t mind playing comedy roles as he believes that’s his strength. Moreover, he says audiences are always open to comedy and the success rate of this genre is very high.
However, Sivaji started his career in a negative role. He says that he is widely known for his comedy role and audiences like him in such roles and therefore he will continue doing them. He says in his next film, Aasa Dosa Appadam, he is again playing a comedy hero.
Sivaji also feels comedy genre is very less prone to failure. He says the success rate of comedy films is high and that’s why most filmmakers ensure they have good scope for comedy in their films. He is also open to other genre of films.
