The Telugu version of Vikram and Jagapathi Babu starrer Siva Thandavam is not releasing this weekend as announced earlier. The local producer had declared it as straight Telugu movie and had evaded the 30% tax levied for dubbing movies. Couple of producers challenged the producer C Kalyan’s claim and the release will be postponed till the issue is cleared. So, it might take another week to release in Telugu. However, the Tamil version, Thandavam, is hitting the screens on September 28th.
Anushka is playing the female lead. Jagapathi Babu, Amy Jackson and Lakshmi Rai are playing pivotal roles in ‘Siva Thandavam’. Vikram is playing a secret agent who is blind guy and uses a technique called Echolocation to sense the objects. Audio of the Tamil version has been already released and gathered positive reviews. GV Prakash is the music director and AL Vijay is the director.
