Looks like, there isn’t even one film that could make the US buyers happy in recent times. Adding to the bruises caused by Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi in the US including all the Summer releases, director Teja’s ‘Sita’ came as no respite.
The movie so far collected $19 K with $ 6K from premieres becoming another Telugu film in the US that collected peanuts. Was it surprising? Nay.
Not that the hero, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas has any weight in the US or the director Teja has any market in the overseas terrain due to his inconsistency. So, nill market for the hero and the director, in the US.
The movie anyway opened to poor talk not only in the US but also in the Telugu States. So far, except for Venkatesh and Varun Tend starter F2: Fun & Frustration, no other movie made profits for the US buyers, only losses.
