Dulquer Salman’s Sita Ramam is scheduled for release on the 5th of August. The promotional campaign is in full swing for the love drama which is set in army backdrop. The makers are confident that the film will put up good openings as the recently released trailer has garnered a largely positive response from all quarters.
Coming to the point, Sita Ramam is now getting perfect backing in other languages as well.
Sita Ramam’s Malayalam rights are acquired by Wayferer Films while the Tamil language distribution rights are with Lyca Productions. Lyca are said to have paid a fancy price for the Tamil rights of the film.
Both these top distribution houses are set to give a super wide release for the film in the respective states. Moreover, Dulquer is already a big star in Malayalam and Tamil. This should come as an added advantage for Sita Ramam now.
It would be mighty easy for Sita Ramam to enter the safe zone if it gets off to a good start in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. There is a sense of positivity on the film and that should help the cause.
Even the trade circuit is optimistic about Sita Ramam’s box office prospects as there hasn’t been a single big hit over the past few weeks and this Hanu Raghavapudi directorial could well do the job at the box office now.
