Baahubali is the biggest film to come out of Telugu cinema in a very long time. Everything regarding the film is big and hence the price paid to the film too is record in all the areas it has been sold to. Its these record price that has led to problem in Overseas.
Baahubali as we all know is releasing simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil along with Telugu version. Now imagine a situation where all the three versions are running with different prices cutting into the business of Telugu version which has been sold at massive price. It’s obvious that the recovery would be difficult under such circumstances.
To overcome this problem overseas distributor has come up with a simple and effective solution. They have decided to postpone the release of other versions by a week. The Hindi version will officially release in US only after first week now. So now the people have to just make do with Telugu original at whatever price the distributors seem just to recover the investment.
