A few heroes normally do not appear on public functions and audio release events even if they are acting in those movies. Fans cheer up and it would be a great news for media also if they come out to attend for social events. In Tollywood Pawan Kalyan and Ajith of Kollywood do not like to give public appearances unless it is really important. Pawan’s disappearance in Ram Charan’s audio release functions caused flutter many times and lead to gossips that relation were strained in Chiranjeevi family. Charan was forced to condemn it several times and expressed his displeasure also. To avoid unnecessary criticism Pawan Kalyan is attending for all functions of Charan in spite of his busy schedule.
However, Ajith’s case is different. He maintains low profile. He attends for meetings which are meant to protect the interests of Kollywood. Ajith last participated in the hunger protests by the South Indian Artistes Association demanding action against the Sri Lankan government for its alleged war crimes and to extend support to the Tamils living in the island nation. He made his appearance in a function in 2010 organized by the film fraternity to convey their heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu. After a gap of three years, he was seen in centenary celebrations of Indian cinema being held in Chennai. He attended with the same look in his latest film Aarambham which is expected to be released very soon.
