They were former lovers but actors Simbu and Nayantara have been showing lot of professionalism on the sets of upcoming Tamil film, which is being directed by Pandiraj. The director said that Both Simbu and Nayantara worked as true professionals, leaving behind their past and never letting their emotions come in between work. They were cordial to each other while working and maintained a professional relationship off the sets as well.
The director said he was initially hesitant to cast them as it was a love story and their chemistry would not do justice to the film but he was pleasantly impressed by the professionalism of both the actors. Nayantara and Simbu had previously worked together in 2006 Tamil romantic-thriller “Vallavan”. It was after the release of this film they parted ways.
While Simbu is also currently shooting for a Tamil project with Gautham Vasudev Menon and awaiting the release of Tamil actioner “Vaalu”, Nayanthara is awaiting the release of southern remake of “Kahaani” titled “Anaamika”.
