After fighting a legal battle for nearly six months,Telugu political revenge saga “Kaalicharan” is finally slated to release Nov 8. The film will be distributed by Allu Aravind of Geetha Arts, who have produced several films such as Jalsa and Magadheera.

Director Sri Praveen said the film has been ready for a long time now, but the last six months were difficult for us. It was stuck in the court for nearly six months because the censor board felt that the film might provoke controversies. I’m glad we have cleared all hurdles and the film is coming out Nov 8.

He added that Allu Aravind has agreed to distribute the film, which is not based on the life of any politician. It’s a realistic story set in 1980’s Mahaboobnagar

The original trailer of the film, which featured a character named Erra Satyam, had to be removed from Youtube as directed by the court few months back. The film stars Krishna Chaitanya, Chandini and Kavita Srinivasan in important roles.
